Summary:
The attached ordinance is a request to change the submission date of the Council Strategic Plan from the first Monday in April to June 30th. The proposed changes will allow for the Council Strategic Plan to better align with the municipal election cycle and development of the Mayor's municipal administrative budget.

Previous changes were made on September 12, 2017. Reference Granicus file number 17-1182, and Ordinance No. 17-81
Background:
The Council Strategic Committee recommends changing the Strategic Plan date from the first Monday in April to June 30th. This change allows for the Council Strategic Plan to better align with the municipal election cycle and development of the Mayor's municipal administrative budget.
This item was discussed at a Council Staff Lunch with all Council being in agreement on the proposed change.
