The City Attorney's Office-Utilities Division will present a decision and order and a resolution for the 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulations filing based upon the August 8, 2017 public hearing held on Colorado Springs Utilities' Utilities Rules and Regulations filing.

City Council held a public hearing on August 8, 2017 regarding Colorado Springs Utilities'
June 27, 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulation filing. City Council reviewed a draft decision and order and a resolution at the August 21, 2017 City Council Work Session Meeting.
Background:
On June 27, 2017 Colorado Springs Utilities submitted a 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulation filing that included proposed changes to be effective September 1, 2017. In accordance with Colorado Springs City Code ? 12.1.107, City Council held a public hearing on August 8, 2017 regarding Colorado Springs Utilities' 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulations filing.
The decision and order summarizes Colorado Springs Utilities' 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulation filing and the record of the public hearing held on August 8, 2017. The decision and order also contains City Council's initial directions at that public hearing regarding the 2017 Utilities Rules and Regulations filing. Any revisions to the draft decision and order or the draft resolution directed by City Council were incorporated into the final decision and order and resolution to be presented for approval by City Council on August 22, 2017.
