Summary:
Authorizes the City Clerk to provide such notice, as may be required by law, to the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder of the City’s Special Municipal Election to be held as a part of a Coordinated Election on November 7, 2023. Such notice shall be provided on or before July 28, 2023. Also authorizes the City Clerk to cooperate with City officers and El Paso County officials to provide an Intergovernmental Agreement, as required by Colorado Revised Statute (“C.R.S.”) § 1-7-116(5) and § 1-1-106(5), with acceptable terms and conditions, applicable for purposes of such election, to be considered for approval and adoption by Council resolution on or before August 25, 2023.
