Summary:
The resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute the attached Intergovernmental Agreement ("IGA") between the Colorado Springs Police Department ("CSPD") and the Colorado State Patrol ("CSP") that provides the CSP access and use of the CSPD hanger facility for a CSP law enforcement aircraft.
Background:
The City of Colorado Springs is providing the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) with a hangar for one of its Cessna 182 aircraft, free of charge, which the State appreciates and recognizes the great benefit the City will be bringing to the people of Colorado. Accordingly, the CSP and the State wish to work collaboratively and in partnership with the City regarding law enforcement investigations and other matters for the City and its neighboring jurisdictions.

Everyone agrees with the information detailed in the IGA.
