Summary:
Colorado Springs Utilities requests approval of the annual Budget for Colorado Springs Utilities and the appropriation of funds for the year ending December 31, 2023.
Background:
As part of the annual budget process, City Council must approve Colorado Springs Utilities’ annual Budget and appropriate funds for the following calendar year expenditures. Colorado Springs Utilities requests that City Council adopt a Budget in the amount of $1,561,654,112 to be appropriated out of the revenues and fund balance of Colorado Springs Utilities for the year ending December 31, 2023.
Previous Council Action:
Ordinance No. 21-104 was approved by City Council on November 23, 2021, to establish Colorado Springs Utilities’ 2021 Budget and appropriated $1,236,168,874.
