Summary:
City Council, Council Staff, City Attorney's Office, and City Clerk have completed a bi-annual revision of the Rules and Procedures of City Council.
The following Rules were amended or added:
Rule 1-2 Powers and Duties (page 10)
? Added duty of President to meet with Councilmembers individually each quarter (Rule 1-2.A.16)
? Added duty of President to facilitate the resolution of issues between Councilmembers (Rule 1-2.A.17)
Rule 2-8 Recognitions (page 24)
? Added provision for majority of Council to be in favor of recognition prior to be placed on agenda (Rule 2-8.A)
Rule 3-5 Voting (Page 26)
? Expanded definition of "present" (Rule 3-5.A)
