Summary:
The LART Citizen Advisory Committee, at their meetings in March of 2022, recommended approval and funding for additional 2022 events and projects. The attached ordinance is a supplemental appropriation to the LART Fund in the amount of $3,485,333 as shown in Exhibit A, as recommended by the LART Citizen Advisory Committee. The attached ordinance also includes a supplemental revenue appropriation in the LART fund of $1,000,000 for funding received from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant to address revenue loss during the pandemic.

The attached ordinance also includes a supplemental appropriation to the CIP Fund in the amount of $900,000 for LART-funded capital projects that will be administered by the City's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department. The $900,000 transfer from the LART Fund to the CIP Fund is included in the $3,485,333 LART Fund supplemental appropriation request.

In 2021, LART revenue exceeded budget by approximately $2.7 million. Additionally, LART has been provided $1,000,000 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding as mentioned above.
