The City Attorney's Office - Utilities Division will present a Decision and Order and Resolution for the 2022 Electric Rate Case based upon the November 9, 2021 public hearing held for Colorado Springs Utilities' 2022 Rate Case filed on September 28, 2021.
Background:
On September 28, 2021 Colorado Springs Utilities submitted a 2022 Rate Case filing that included certain proposed changes to the Electric Rate Schedules effective January 1, 2022. In accordance with Colorado Springs City Code ? 12.1.108, City Council held a public hearing on November 9, 2021 regarding Colorado Springs Utilities' 2022 Electric Rate Case.
The Decision and Order summarizes Colorado Springs Utilities' 2022 Electric Rate Case and the record of the public hearing held on November 9, 2021. The Decision and Order also contains City Council's initial directions at that public hearing regarding the 2022 Electric Rate Case. The final Decision and Order and final Resolution presented for approval by City Council at the November 23, 2021 meeting includes any City Council directed revisions from the November 22, 2021 Work Session meeting.
