The United States of America was viciously attacked on home ground at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon and in the air over Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001 and nearly 3,000 American children, women and men lost their lives that day and we shall never forget the devastation and loss we suffered as individuals and as a nation.
