  Summary:

In accordance with the 2004 Intergovernmental Agreement establishing the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD), final approval of the Department’s budget shall be by the Colorado Springs City Council and the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners. A Resolution approving the 2019 Budget and a copy of the PPRBD 2019 Budget is in the agenda packet.

 

  Previous Council Action: 

City Council approved the 2018 PPRBD budget on December 11, 2017.

 

  Background:

N/A

 

  Financial Implications: There is no impact to the City’s General Fund as PPRBD operates as an enterprise financed entirely through revenue generated from plan review, permit, and licensing fees.  The General Fund does make rental payments to the PPRBD.

 

  Board/Commission Recommendation:

The 2019 PPRBD Budget was approved by the Regional Building Advisory Board on September 19, 2018, and by the Regional Building Commission on October 4, 2018.
