Background:
National Landscape Architecture Month is observed each year to recognize and celebrate the valuable contributions made by Landscape Architects. Through The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) we seek to raise the public's awareness about the breadth of influence this profession has in our community; calls attention to the role Landscape Architects play in our world; recognizes the contributions they provide to improve the quality of life today, and for future generations around the world and specifically in Colorado.
This item supports the City's strategic goal through investing in infrastructure as well as supports building community and collaborative relationships. Whether creating, or working with the development community, to build trails, parks, sports fields, preserve land, or build neighborhoods, Landscape Architects are integral to the health, safety and welfare and the quality of life of our citizens through sensitive planning and design and the oversight of the built product.
