Summary:
The Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority Board and Executive Director, Jariah Walker submitted Peter Scoville for re-appointment to the board for his second five year term. Mayor Suthers conducted interviews and recommends Peter Scoville for re-appointment.

Previous Council Action:
Peter Scoville was confirmed to serve on the Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority Board in April, 2014.

Background:
The Colorado Springs Urban Renewal Authority (CSURA) was established by the City of Colorado Springs City Council in 1970 through the approval of Ordinance No. 3995.
The current board consists of nine commissioners appointed for a term of five years and terms are staggered so one vacancy occurs each year. Accordance with HB-1348, four additional commissioner positions have been added to the board: one to be appointed by El Paso County, one to be appointed by the School Districts, one to be appointed by the Special Districts and one to be appointed by the Mayor.
