  Summary:

Thayer was originally appointed to serve on the board in March of 2013, with reappointment to a second term in March of 2016.  At the recommendation of the Colorado Springs Health Foundation Board, Mayor Suthers conducted interviews and agreed on a third term reappointment.

 

  Previous Council Action: 

Originally appointed in March of 2013, reappointed to a second term in March of 2016.

 

  Background:

The Colorado Springs Health Foundation (CSHF) was created to oversee the funds that the City of Colorado Springs receives from the lease of Memorial Health System, now operating as UCHealth - Memorial Hospital. This Foundation was charged with stewarding these funds in perpetuity for addressing health issues in the Pikes Peak Region.
