Ordinance No. 18-65 amending Ordinance No. 17-116 (2018 Appropriation Ordinance) for a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $230,000 to the City Capital Improvement Program fund for Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services (PRCS) projects as recommended by the LART Citizens' Advisory Committee

Summary:
The LART Citizens' Advisory Committee recommended funding for two (2) projects in 2018 for Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS). The funding for these two projects is appropriated in the LART fund, however because the projects are for the City PRCS Department, we now need to appropriate the funds in the City Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Fund, where the projects will reside. The two projects are as follows, per Exhibit A:

? Garden of the Gods Trail Improvements $180,000
? Bancroft Park Restrooms $50,000

Previous Council Action:
On November 28, 2017, City Council recommended LART expenditures to be included in the 2018 budget (Resolution No. 137-17). On December 12, 2017, City Council approved the 2018 Budget per Ordinance No. 17-116, which included the appropriation of funds for the LART Fund.

Financial Implications:
The supplemental appropriation increases the 2018 City Capital Improvement Program revenue and expenditure budgets by $230,000. The source of funds is a transfer from the LART Fund.

The LART Citizens' Advisory Committee has recommended these projects to be funded in 2018.
