Current Board Member, Sharon King was appointed to the Colorado Springs Housing Authority Board April 1, 2013 with a term ending on April 1, 2018. Ms. King has requested reappointment and comes recommended by the current board members to serve a second five year term. The Mayor conducted interviews and recommends Sharon King for the following appointment.

Background:
Members of the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Colorado Springs and approved by the Colorado Springs City Council in accordance with state law. The board consists of seven commissioners appointed for a term of five years and terms are staggered so vacancies occurs each year.
