City Council has requested a briefing on the provisions of City Code Chapter 5 (Elections), Article 2 (Campaign Funds, Disclosures, and Use of City Resources), Part 3 (Use of City Resources for Campaigning) as it relates to election issues on the November 2017 ballot.

 

  Previous Council Action: 

Council passed Resolution No. 89-17, referring to the electors on the November 2017 ballot a question authorizing the collection of a stormwater fee and other related matters, on August 22, 2017.

The City Attorney’s Office will provide a briefing regarding the use of City resources for campaigning on election issues.
