Summary:
Current board member, Sara Martin resigned on October 31, 2016. This vacant position was advertised and Mayor Suthers conducted interviews with a panel consisting of; Community Development Manager, Aimee Cox, Executive Director of the CSHA, Chad Wright and Councilmember Tom Strand. The Mayor recommends Jackie Jaramillo for the following appointment.

Sara Martin was appointed to fill a vacant five year term at the April 18, 2013 Regular Council Meeting. She resigned from her position on the Housing Authority Board effective October 31, 2016.
Background:
Members of the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Colorado Springs and approved by the Colorado Springs City Council in accordance with state law. The board consists of seven commissioners appointed for a term of five years and terms are staggered so one vacancy occurs each year.
