Summary:
At the October 27, 2016 Budget Markup Session, City Council discussed a number of changes to the 2017 Budget released on October 3, 2016.
The attached Ordinance adopts the budgets and appropriates monies for each fund and reflects proposed changes as line items.
The proposed changes to the 2017 Budget are listed in attachments as follows:

? Airport Gross Operating Fund - Attachment B-1
? Airport CIP Fund - Attachment B-2
? Airport Debt Service Fund - Attachment B-3
? Airport Passenger Facility Charges Fund - Attachment B-4
? Airport Customer Facility Charges Fund - Attachment B-5
? Ballfield CIP Fund - Attachment C
? Conservation Trust Fund (CTF) - Attachment D
With these changes incorporated, the 2017 General Fund Budget totals $272,625,409.
Previous Council Action:
At the October 27, 2016 Budget Markup Session, City Council discussed a number of changes to the 2017 Budget. Those changes are presented in Attachments A - D.
Background:
The Mayor transmitted the 2017 Budget to City Council on October 3, 2016, and the 2017 Budget was reviewed and discussed by City Council at two budget work sessions. Public input was received by City Council at a formal public hearing held on October 20, 2016.
Financial Implications:
The City's 2017 Budget, inclusive of all funds, totals $494,881,925, which is a decrease of $32.9 million or 6.2% from the 2016 Budget.
The 2017 General Fund Budget totals $272,625,409. This represents an increase of $5,864,905, or 2.2%, above the original 2016 Budget.
