Background:
Global SuperTanker Services, LLC is a Colorado Springs, Co based company specializing in aerial firefighting of wildland fires, marine fires and isolated rail fires using the world's largest aerial tanker, the B747-400. The SuperTanker is a true Next Generation aerial firefighting platform and the very youngest Very Large Tanker (VLAT) in the US. The SuperTanker operates without any altitude or airspeed restrictions which allows the plane to fly at 600 mph. The SuperTanker is capable of taking off from the Colorado Springs Airport and flying non-stop to Sydney or Melbourne, Australia without a fuel stop, making the aircraft and the Colorado Springs Airport truly international!

James (Jim) J. Wheeler President and CEO. Extensive leadership and management background in logistics, global trade and transportation. Mr. Wheeler served as an executive with FedEx Corporation for more than 25 years as was the major architect of many of their expansion, productivity, international custom clearance strategies and processes globally. Mr. Wheeler served as President and CEO of Evergreen International Airlines from March of 2012 through September of 2013. Evergreen, an all-cargo B-747 operator, served the military and commercial markets with scheduled and charter frequencies. During his tenure Mr. Wheeler was responsible for a fleet reconfiguration, a shift to more commercial markets, improved relationships with customers, employees, the FAA and other government agencies.
