Body
 From:
Nina Vetter, Senior Budget Analyst

 Summary:
In October 2014, the City's Strategic Advisory Team débuted a reboot of the Citizens' Academy for board & commission members and volunteers. We learned from this pilot effort, and will host a new event open to all citizens called yourCOS to facilitate a discussion of the ways individuals can get involved in their City government and what services the City provides.

The event will take place on April 2, 2015 from 5:30-8:00pm in the Fire Department Headquarters.  Invitations have been extended to current volunteers and community members who may be interested in getting involved. This event will provide a number of ways to access City staff, Council members, and other volunteers to learn about the ways citizens can interact and become part of their City.
