Human Relations Commission members will provide an update on the Commission’s recent activities and plans for 2016-2017.

City Council heard the HRC’s last update at its work session on May 11, 2015.

 

  Background:

This item supports the City’s strategic goal relating to building community and collaborative relationships.  The HRC’s is to promote understanding and respect for Colorado Springs residents by facilitating constructive communication through referrals, conflict resolution, education and outreach. The board works toward its goals through supporting fairness and respect, developing ways to measure and monitor community relations, and offering programs and services promoting these ends.
