  Presenter:

Dave Donelson, City Councilmember District 1
Samantha Bailey, Innovations & Sustainability Coordinator

Body

  Summary:

After discussion with the Food Policy Advisory Board, current Councilmember liaison and previous Councilmember it was determined the best path forward was to dissolve the Food Policy Advisory Board and create the Sustainability Advisory Board housed in the Innovations and Sustainability Department. Samantha Bailey (Innovations & Sustainability Coordinator) will serve as the liaison to the newly created board and provide direction. This outcome expands the board work, mission and goals while providing a benefit to the Sustainability & Innovations Department. The Board will advise City Council and will help recommend content for the COS Sustainability Action plan.
