 Summary:
The Loan Review Committee is inactive due to changes over time in the City's policies and procedures relating to approval of rehabilitation loan applications and should be disbanded.
 
 Previous Council Action:  
City Council adopted Resolution 215-78 establishing the Loan Review Committee in June 1978, and Resolution 70-94 relating to the composition and purpose of the committee in April 1994.
 
 Background:
City administrative staff involved with the rehabilitation loan programs previously reviewed by the Loan Review Committee have recommended that it be disbanded.  Such a committee is not required by federal guidelines relating to the loan programs funded through the City's Housing Development Division.
