Title
Consideration of resolutions or other actions relating to the disposition of the property known as Jones Park for a public purpose.

Body
 From:
Eileen Lynch Gonzalez, City Council Administrator

 Summary:
At its September 9, 2014 regular Council meeting, City Council considered and did not adopt a resolution relating to donation of the Jones Park property to the National Forest Foundation (refer to File ID #14-0545).  As a result of that discussion, City Council voted to delay further consideration of the disposition of Jones Park until the September 23, 2014 regularly scheduled Council meeting.  In the interim, Council directed that staff brief the Colorado Springs Utilities Board on possible appraisal process, cost and timeline for the property at their September 17, 2014 Board meeting, and for the City Attorney's Office to review two alternative proposals relating to putting the property out for bid and/or donating the property to El Paso County.  As of agenda publication, no new materials have been introduced to consider under this item; any materials added after publication will be introduced as available and according to applicable notice requirements.
