Summary:
Per City Council Rules (Rule 3-13 Parliamentary Procedure for Motions, Section 9.b.), Councilmember Brandy Williams submitted in writing a formal request to the City Council President on Friday, March 13, 2026, for reconsideration of Ordinance No. 26-06 (Item 11.B on the March 10, 2026 Regular Meeting). The motion to reconsider is to be reviewed at the March 24, 2026 Regular Meeting. If the motion is approved, Council will designate a later date to reconsider the item.
Background:
At the March 10, 2026, Regular Meeting, City Council conducted a public hearing for the proposed vacation of approximately 0.92 acres of public right-of-way along East Boulder Street between N. Nevada Avenue and N. Weber Street. The motion for vacation of the right-of-way failed on a 4-4 vote.
