  Summary:

Addition of language to Section 7.3.303.F adding a section No. 5 related to distances of Recreational Marijuana Stores, requiring one (1) mile from Elementary or Secondary School, Residential Childcare Facility, or Drug or Alcohol Treatment Facility.

Council referred this matter to the City Planning Commission at their regular Work Session meeting on July 22, 2024.  Minutes of the meeting are available and included.

City Planning Commission held a public meeting on this item on August 28, 2024.  CPC voted 6-1 to not recommend approval to City Council.

  Proposed Motions:

Approve the amendment of Section 7.3.303.F to the Unified Development Code of the City Of Colorado Springs based upon the findings that the code text amendment complies with City Code Section 7.5.702.
