Summary:
The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and the City of Colorado Springs (City) believe it will be mutually beneficial for the City to provide project delivery support to USAFA for watershed and habitat restoration projects. This agreement lays the groundwork for how this will be accomplished.
Background:
In the past the City has entered into project specific Intergovernmental Support Agreements (IGSA) with USAFA to complete restoration projects (Exhibit A). Now the parties wish to enter into a 10-year IGSA covering multiple projects in order to capitalize on funding opportunities and project delivery strategies.
