  Summary:

Colorado Springs Sports Corp will provide an update to City Council every 6 months regarding their work related to the LART Contract.

 

  Background: 

The LART Tax, 2% on lodging and 1% on auto rental, was established in 1978 with the purpose of attracting visitors and enhancing the economy of the City and Pikes Peak Region (City Code 2.9.102).  Colorado Springs Sports Corp. is one of four LART-contracted entities that will provide an update to City Council every six months.

  Previous Council Action:

On November 25, 2025, City Council approved the original 2026 Budget per Ordinance No. 25-95, which included the appropriation of funds for the LART Fund.
