  Summary:

In accordance with the 2004 Intergovernmental Agreement establishing the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (RBD), final approval of the Department’s budget shall be by the Colorado Springs City Council and the El Paso County Board of County Commissioners. Attached is Resolution approving the 2016 Budget and a copy of the RBD 2016 Budget.

  Financial Implications:

There is no impact to the City’s General Fund as RBD operates as an enterprise financed entirely through revenue generated from plan review, permit, and licensing fees.  The General Fund does make rental payments to the RBD.

The 2016 RBD Budget was approved by the Regional Building Advisory Board on November 19, 2015, and by the Regional Building Commission on November 23, 2015.
