Summary:
Councilmember Roland Rainey has selected Philip Cisneros for The Community Recognition Program in the District 6 for his outstanding dedication to serving local youth and families. Philip has demonstrated exemplary community service through his leadership of the elementary school PTA and his many vital roles within Cub Scout Pack 84, including cubmaster, den leader, accountant, and any other responsibility needed to keep the pack thriving. When the pack lost its sponsoring organization, Philip stepped up as PTA president, ensuring the program could continue supporting boys in our community. His commitment has created a safe, encouraging environment where young people can learn, grow, and develop into engaged citizens and responsible young men.

Each month, one Council District or At Large seat will nominate an individual who demonstrates exceptional service to the Colorado Springs community.
