Summary:
Colorado Springs Utilities will present on June 12, 2018 during the public hearing agenda item a summary of the tariff filing for the consideration of resolutions regarding Utilities Rules and Regulations and the Electric, Natural Gas, Water, and Wastewater Rate Schedule Tariffs, effective July 1, 2018 (with the exception of proposed changes to Accessory Dwelling Units effective January 1, 2019). City Council will be requested to suspension of Part 4 (I) (c) of the Rules and Procedures of City Council, Post-Hearing Procedures, waiving the requirement of a Decision and Order for the requested change at the conclusion of the City Attorney Instructions.
Previous Council Action:
On May 8, 2018 City Council approved the proposed public hearing date of
June 12, 2018 at the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council to consider changes to Colorado Springs Utilities' Utilities Rules and Regulations and the Electric, Natural Gas, Water, and Wastewater Rate Schedule Tariffs, effective July 1, 2018 (with the exception of proposed changes to Accessory Dwelling Units effective January 1, 2019).
Background:
On May 8, 2018 Colorado Springs Utilities submitted a 2018 Proposed Tariff Changes filing that included proposed changes to be effective July 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019. The filing includes all supporting documentation plus resolutions to rescind City Council Volume No. 5, adopt City Council Volume No. 6, and make changes related to Accessory Dwelling Units.
