  Background: 

Kenneth Casey was chosen at special called meeting of City Council on April 6, 2026. A majority of City Councilmembers selected Mr. Casey to fill the unexpired term for the District 2 City Councilmember until the next General Municipal Election held on April 6, 2027.

  Previous Council Action:

City Council solicited applications to fill the vacancy in District 2. City Councilmembers interviewed candidates at a special called meeting on April 6, 2026. During this meeting a majority of members chose Kenneth Casey to serve the unexpired term for the District 3 City Councilmember until the April 6, 2027, General Municipal Election.
