Body
From:
Christopher P. Riley, Fire Chief, Colorado Springs Fire Department
Summary:
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) Community and Public Health section has grown significantly over the past few years. What was once referred to as CSFD C.A.R.E.S. (Community Assistance Referral and Education Services), has expanded and is performing unprecedented work in our community. The work and structure of programs working under Community and Public Health are gathering national attention for their innovative approach to solving problems in the environment of pre-hospital medicine. This presentation is to provide the members of City Council with up to date and accurate information regarding the CSFD Community and Public Health section.
