  Summary:

A Presentation to provide a history of the Golden Mill Cycle project, describe the regulatory authority under which the project is conducted, explain EPA's role in the project, and outline the project cleanup requirements under the department's Voluntary Cleanup Program.

Since the early 2000's, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's Remediation Program has worked with the Gold Hill Mesa developer to implement environmental cleanup of the former Golden Cycle Mill property. Cleanup and redevelopment of the property has proceeded under the authority of Colorado's Voluntary Cleanup and Redevelopment Act (Section 25-16-301 et.seq., C.R.S).
