The City Attorney's Office - Utilities Division will present a Decision and Order and Resolution based upon the April 14, 2026, public hearing held for Colorado Springs Utilities' (Utilities) March 2026 Rate Case filed on March 3, 2026.
Background:
On March 3, 2026, Utilities submitted a March 2026 Rate Case filing that included the proposed establishment of a Natural Gas Integrity Federal Compliance Charge in Utilities' Natural Gas Rate Schedules, effective July 1, 2026. Utilities filed supplemental information related to the March 2026 Natural Gas Rate Case on April 7, 2026. In accordance with Colorado Springs City Code ? 12.1.108, City Council held a public hearing on April 14, 2026, regarding Utilities' March 2026 Rate Case. Notice of proposed changes were provided in The Gazette on March 12, 2026.
The Decision and Order summarizes Utilities' March 2026 Rate Case and the record of the public hearing held on April 14, 2026.
