Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services staff will provide an update on the recent damage to the Bancroft Park band shell and the need relating to potential repairs.

  Background:

In the early morning hours of January 27th a fire occurred in the band shell structure located at Bancroft Park, 2408 W. Colorado Avenue, in Old Colorado City. Since that time City Park and Risk Management staff have been working through the process with Travelers Insurance to establish the extent of the damage and the loss that would be covered through the City’s insurance policy with them.

 

  Financial Implications:

There is a $25,000 deductible requires by the City insurance policy for this type of an event.
