Summary:
Rule 5-1.A.1 and 5-1.D of the Rules and Procedures of City Council state that Councilmember Liaisons to City Council Boards, Commissions, and Committees shall be ratified by the City Council. The proposed modification is removing the El Paso County Board of Health from the list. City Council does not have appointment authority for this Board, that authority rests solely with the El Paso County Board of Commissioners.
The recommended appointment was put forth by Council President Crow-Iverson.
