Summary:
An informational presentation on the 2022 PlanCOS Annual Report. This presentation will go over recent data related to the Keystone Indicators as well as updates on the Key Initiatives. This presentation and report will also dive into related initiatives which further the goals of the comprehensive plan. Annual reports have been presented to Planning Commission and City Council since the adoption of PlanCOS in 2019. The reports are not intended to modify the vision, goals or implementation strategies of PlanCOS; the intent is to “report” to Planning Commission, City Council and the public on how the City is meeting its comprehensive plan.
Background:
PlanCOS, the City’s comprehensive guide to growth and development, was adopted by City Council in January of 2019. Annually, a report will evaluate whether objectives are being achieved by reporting on: Keystone Indicators and other measures of success; progress on recommended major city initiatives; experience with the development review process; and if there are any recommendations for realignment of strategic city priorities related to the Plan. 2022 is the fourth year of the plan’s implementation.

The City Council voted to approve PlanCOS in January 2019.
