  Summary:

Pursuant to the requirements of Article 1, Chapter 5, Part 1, Section 113 of the Code of the City of Colorado Springs 2001, as amended, governing the conduct of a Municipal Mail Ballot Election, the City Clerk submits the June 17, 2025 Special Municipal Election Mail Ballot Plan for City Council approval.

 

  Background: 

Pursuant to the requirements of Article 1, Chapter 5, Part 1, Section 113 of the Code of the City of Colorado Springs 2001, as amended, governing the conduct of a Municipal Mail Ballot Election, the City Clerk submits the June 17, 2025 Special Municipal Election Mail Ballot Plan for City Council approval.

  Financial Implications:

There may be enough General Fund savings in 2025 to cover the cost of the election. If it is determined during the year that there will not be sufficient savings, Finance will bring forward a supplemental appropriation to use funding from the reserves to cover the cost.
