Summary:
An informational presentation on the 2019 PlanCOS Annual Report to be given by the Comprehensive Planning division of the Planning Department. This presentation will go over recent data related to the Keystone Indicators as well as updates on the Key Initiatives. This presentation and report will also dive into other happenings in Colorado Springs which further the goals of the comprehensive plan.
The 2019 PlanCOS Annual Report is presented as a draft and may be adjusted if the City Council sees any errors that need to be corrected.
Background:
PlanCOS, the city's comprehensive guide to growth and development, was adopted by City Council in January of 2019. Yearly, a report will evaluate whether or not objectives are being achieved by reporting on Keystone Indicators, other measures of success, progress on recommended major city initiatives, experience with the development review process, and if there are any recommendations for realignment of strategic city priorities related to the Plan. 2019 will be the first year of the plan's implementation and the annual report serves as the "base year" for measuring goal and indicators moving forward.
Previous Council Action:
The City Council adopted PlanCOS in January 2019.

An informational presentation was given to the City Planning Commission on May 21, 2020. No formal action on the annual report is required by the Planning Commission.
Stakeholder Process:
Once the annual report has been reviewed, and any last minute adjustments have been made, the report will be published for general circulation with the public.
