Summary:
At the recommendation of the Colorado Springs Housing Authority Board of Trustees, Mayor Yemi Mobolade nominates Eddie Rodriguez for reappointment to a second term.
Background:
The Colorado Springs Housing Authority (CSHA) was created March 10, 1970. Members of the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor of the City of Colorado Springs and approved by the Colorado Springs City Council in accordance with state law. The board consists of seven commissioners appointed for a term of four years and a term-limit of two consecutive terms of service.
Previous Council Action:
Nomination to appoint Eddie Rodriguez to serve out the term created by the vacancy from Donnis Martin's resignation on the Colorado Springs Housing Authority Board. The term would be set to expire on April 1, 2022. Passed on January 26, 2021.
