Body
Summary:
Repeal and replace Article 1 of Chapter 2 - Formerly known as the General Business License Code, this ordinance reordains Article 1 as the City Business License Code. This code remains the overall license code which applies to all specific business license types and sets the new organization and structural format for all license types, with each of the specific license type codes remaining supplementary to the City Business License Code. Changes include consolidating, relocation, and streamlining of license requirements and unlawful acts for clearer concise understanding, as well as updating legal terminology and syntax. The vast majority of the proposed changes for all license types are to standardize the hierarchy and flow outline, as follows:
? Definitions
? Qualifications
? Requirements and Prohibitions
? Insurance and Inspections
? Denial or Suspension
