Summary:
A change to the LART Membership to allow a member of the automobile rental industry to serve as a non-voting ex officio member if they do not live or work within the City. The proposed Resolution is the same Resolution 137-18 with the addition of the following text:
Four Representatives from the Tourism industry, to include one representative from the sports industry, one representative from the destination marketing organization for the City of Colorado Springs, one representative from the Arts community, and one representative from a tourist-related business; and
a. A representative from the automobile rental industry may occupy the tourist-related business position.
b. If the tourist-related business position is already occupied or if the automobile rental industry representative selected to fill the position does not work or reside in the City of Colorado Springs, they shall serve as a non-voting ex-officio member.
