Summary:
This is a request for endorsement of an Infill Action Plan by resolution as recommended in the City's pending Infill Comprehensive Plan Supplement (Chapter). The Infill Action Plan has been created, reviewed and endorsed by the City's Infill Steering Committee and recommended for approval by the Planning Commission.

Action on this item is immediately following approval of the Infill Comprehensive Plan Supplement ordinance on second reading.

Background:

The City's Infill Comprehensive Plan Supplement (Chapter) recommends the continued use, maintenance and implementation of the attached Infill Action Plan, as recommended by the Infill Steering Committee. This resolution would endorse this document for ongoing use. A few of the recommended action items are completed, with several more underway. Others are expected to be initiated in the near future, with the remainder to be considered in light of City resources and priorities. Many of these recommendations are addressed in or are aligned with existing City strategic plans.

The intent of this Infill Action Plan is that it should be periodically adapted, reported on and updated in order to maintain progress and relevancy. At minimum, annual reports and updates are recommended.
