The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) is a local voluntary association of municipal and county governments.  Since 1967, PPACG has worked to ensure that local governments have a forum to discuss issues that cross their political boundaries, identify shared opportunities and challenges, and develop collaborative strategies for action.

Robert MacDonald, Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) will provide City Council with a briefing on the regional processes of project selection, with PPACG's long-range transportation plan (2040 Plan), short-range plan (2008-2013 TIP) and the prioritization of some specific projects as examples.
