Summary:
Designating the City Clerk’s Office as the public place for posting of public notices for public meetings, in accordance with City Charter 3-60(d) and the City Charter Appendix-Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) Section 24-6-401 et. seq In addition to this location, meeting notices will be posted on the City’s website. Postings shall be individually, full and timely, posted to provide notice pursuant to the requirements of the City Charter and CRS.
Background:
Pursuant to City Charter 3-60(d) and the City Charter Appendix-Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS) Section 24-6-401 et. seq., any meetings at which the adoption of any proposed policy, position, resolution, rule, regulation or formal action occurs, or at which a majority of the quorum of the legislative body is in attendance, or is expected to be in attendance, requires notice of the meeting to be posted in a designated public place within the boundaries of the local public body not less than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Move to designate the City Clerk’s Office as the public place for posting of public notices for public meetings. Postings shall be individually, full and timely, posted to provide notice pursuant to the requirements of the City Charter Appendix and CRS. This designation shall remain effective until a new designation is made by City Council.
