Summary:
After a thorough review and stakeholder engagement process, City Council has determined to dissolve the Citizens’ Transportation Advisory Board as a City Council Appointed Board and recognize past accomplishments
Background:
Changes in governance and expanded resident transportation engagement channels have created overlaps in responsibilities initially held solely by the Board. The Board no longer serves a distinct legislative function. The City has implemented diverse and accessible engagement methods, ensuring residents continue to have meaningful input into transportation issues.
Previous Council Action:
City Council created the Citizens’ Transportation Advisory Board with the passage of Ordinance 02-101 on June 25, 2002, and further amended the legislation Ordinance Nos. 21-92 on November 9, 2021.
