Mayor Yemi will deliver his annual State of the City address to City Councilmembers and attending members of the public. The Mayor’s speech will recap actions taken by the City over the past year in the strategic priority areas of public safety, infrastructure, housing solutions, economic vitality and community activation. He will also speak about challenges and opportunities and share the City’s vision and strategic plan for the future.

According to the Charter of the City of Colorado Springs (4-40), “The Mayor shall provide for an annual ‘State of the City’ report to the citizens on progress in meeting the strategic plan.”
