A resolution recognizing greenhouse gas mitigation measures in the Unified Development Code of the City of Colorado Springs.

 

  Background: 

The Unified Development Code contains measures related to parking and transportation that likely qualify as greenhouse gas mitigation measures pursuant to Colorado State Rules Governing Statewide Transportation Planning Process and Transportation Planning Regions.

  Previous Council Action:

City Council approved the Unified Development Code on first reading on January 24, 2023 and will vote on second reading on February 14, 2023.

 

  Financial Implications:

Greenhouse Gas Mitigation measures may allow our community to qualify for a credit - which allows construction of our PPRTA and other roads.
