  Summary:

City Charter § 3-10(e) and City Code § 1.2.203 require that salary of the City Auditor be prescribed by Ordinance.

 

  Background: 

It is recommended that Jacqueline Rowland’s annual salary as City Auditor be increased to $183,175, representing a 3% increase effective June 27, 2021. Jacqueline Rowland was appointed City Auditor by Ordinance No. 21-06 and her annual salary was set at $177,841, together with applicable benefits, effective January 12, 2021. The proposed salary is within the range established for City Auditor in the 2021 Salary Structure.

  Previous Council Action:

By Ordinance No. 21-06, the City Council appointed Jacqueline Rowland as City Auditor and set her annual salary at $177,841, together with applicable benefits, effective January 12, 2021.

 

  Financial Implications:

The salary increase is $5,334 annually.
